More on Question Period

Just heard an interesting thing - that Carol Jamieson at first refused to go on Question Period when she heard she'd be on with Goldy Hyder. The producers had to talk her into it.

We'll have to see if she shows up!

Finally - we get a chance to have a say

Thank goodness, CPAC is finally going to let real Conservatives weigh in on the faked up "leadership crisis".

Carol Jamieson will be on Goldhawk Live, CPAC's Sunday-night call-in show this week.

The show takes calls from 8 - 9 pm ET, that's 5-6 pm PT, at 1-877-296-2722.

This is our chance to have a say. To strike back at the carpers and whiners. And to get the media back on real news and real issues.

More names

The carping classes over at http://www.dehors-harper-out.blogspot.com have added some new names to their pointless petition just now I see.

This is no surprise. I understand they mailed this list around to media outlets late this afternoon hoping to find someone lazy enough to churn out yet another Tories-fighting-Tories story. I guess tomorrow we'll see who was lazy enough to bite.

Who are all these folks? No telephone numbers posted. I don't recognize any of the names. Do you? Any intel on these folks?

I guess we don't have to worry. They'll all be media stars by Monday.

CTV News ought to be ashamed of themselves.

First they rushed to air with that little "oopsie" about Lucien Bouchard's "death".

Then this week, the "oopsie" about Harper Hater Carol Jamieson being an Ontario MP.
As if! And the "oopsie" about National Council meeting to kick her out of the Conservative
Party, even though no meeting was held.

After all these clunkers, you'd think they'd be moving on. There's no leadership turmoil in the Conservative Party.

And you'd be wrong. 'Cause at CTV the motto is, if at first you don't get it right, just keep piling on.

So now I find out that they've invited Carol Jamieson to be a guest on Question Period this weekend! That's great - make up for your lousy reporting by keeping the story going. What a bunch of professionals.

Now, I know hardly anyone watches Question Period. What's their ratings, 10,000 viewers?

But CTV bills it as "Canada's landmark political program".

OK, folks, it's time to send a message to Canada's landmark political program.

Tell them to move on to some real news!

Send them an e-mail this weekend at questionperiod@ctv.ca.

Debut

Every party has 'em.

But why do the Conservative ones always get the media attention?

I mean the carping classes, the self-appointed "senior organizers" with
their fingers always on the self-destruct button.

Yes, Carol Jamieson, I mean you and your ilk.

We've gone nearly twenty years without a winning campaign. We went
through three or four parties. We're finally putting that behind us.

And now these cranks are making us look like a bunch of not-ready-for-
prime-time small timers.

At first I figured, hey, this woman and her crowd are a bunch of nuts.
Let's just ignore them. They'll go away.

But now I see they're not going away. We're going to have to beat them
back.

So I'm following so many of my fellow Conservatives. I'm launching a
blog. A blog for Conservatives who've had enough of this nonsense.

A blog for Conservatives who want to Stand Up for Canada.

A blog for Conservative who know it's time to Stand up for Stephen.
